Kristina Mundt

Kristina Mundt (judge) (born January 25, 1966 in Merseburg ) is a former German rower.

Career

Kristina Mundt started for the rowing company Wiking in the SC DHfK Leipzig . Her trainer was Sabine Dähne. Mundt's career spanned eleven years, but was repeatedly interrupted by injuries. She had to have operations on her right elbow seven times. The sculler was world champion in the double fours in 1985 and 1994. She celebrated her greatest successes during the Olympic Games. In 1988 and 1992 she was able to win Olympic gold in double fours.

For winning the gold medal in 1992, she received the silver bay leaf on June 23, 1993 .

Kristina Mundt studied sport at DHfK from 1988 to 1992 and now works for AOK . She is married to the wrestling trainer Jörg Richter , with whom she has three children. In 1992 she was awarded the Bambi .

Kristina Mundt was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit in Gold in 1986 and 1988 .
