The men's long jump at the 1954 European Athletics Championships was held on August 27 and 28, 1954 in the Neufeld Stadium in Bern .
The Hungarian Ödön Földessy was European champion . He won ahead of Poland's Zbigniew Iwański. The French Ernest Wanko came in third.
