Lilly Scholz , married. Gaillard (born April 18, 1903 ; † unknown) was an Austrian figure skater who started in pair skating .

Scholz initially competed in pair skating alongside Otto Kaiser . They became Austrian champions for the first time in Vienna in 1924 . In the years 1927 to 1929 they were able to win the national title again.

From 1925 to 1929 Scholz and Kaiser took part in world championships . They always made it to the podium. In 1925 they won the bronze medal, in 1926 , 1927 and 1928 they became vice world champions and finally world champions in Budapest in 1929 . Their main competitors were their compatriots Herma Szabó and Ludwig Wrede and the French Andrée Joly and Pierre Brunet . At the Olympic Games in St. Moritz in 1928 , Scholz and Kaiser won the silver medal behind Joly and Brunet.

After their wedding, Scholz started in 1931 under the name Gaillard with Willy Petter . The two became Austrian champions in 1931 and 1932 . They won the bronze medal at the European Championships in 1931 and became vice-European champions in 1932 and 1933 . In their only World Cup participation, they missed a medal with fourth place in 1931 .
