In the United Kingdom the privileged system of purveyors to the court is called the “Royal Warrant” . It is a kind of delivery authorization granted by members of the royal court. In Great Britain, the three oldest members of the royal family give this award. Queen Elizabeth II awards the title of purveyor to the court in her function as British monarch. Furthermore, her husband, the Prince Consort of the Duke of Edinburgh and their two sons, as immediate heir to the throne, Charles, Prince of Wales, award this supplier title. The Queen Mother Elizabeth (1900–2002) also awarded the title to her suppliers, which, however, expired every five years after her death - in 2007.
