Footnotes

  1. The Zanzibari national football team is an independent member of the African Football Confederation , but not yet a member of FIFA . As a result, the game is not included in FIFA statistics.
  2. ^ South Sudan's World Cup debut ended early by rain . bbc.com, October 7, 2015; accessed on October 8, 2015.
  3. The competitive games in this overview also include games that took place in the context of smaller tournaments. These games are sometimes mistakenly rated as friendly games for the sake of simplicity. Although it is also debatable to count these games among the competitive games, this takes into account the fact that they differ from "pure" friendly games.
