The truck MAZ-6501 ( Russian МАЗ-6501 , German transcription actually MAS-6501) is a type of truck from the Belarusian vehicle manufacturer Minski Avtomobilny Sawod , which has been in series production since 2008. It is technically based on the MAZ-6312 .

The heavy three-axle truck has two driven rear axles. In contrast to many three-axle European makes, none of the rear axles is steered. The vehicle is delivered from the factory as a tipper with different tipping bodies depending on the model variant. It is technically possible to operate the vehicle in combination with a trailer as a truck with a total weight of up to 60.5 tons, which is why it is motorized with up to 320 kW more than usual. All variants of the vehicle have a cabin equipped for local traffic without sleeping accommodations. Different engines are offered in different model variants, whereby the range covers engines from Russian as well as western production. The same applies to the gearbox.
