Max Grothusen

Max Grothusen (born September 24, 1903 near Antwerp , † November 24, 1984 in West Berlin ) was a German actor , radio play and voice actor .

Life

Grothusen appeared as a theater actor on numerous German-speaking stages. His theater stations include the Thalia Theater in Hamburg , Stendal, Landsberg, Schleswig, Bielefeld as well as the Schiller and the Schloßparktheater in Berlin.

In addition to his stage work, Grothusen also sporadically took on roles in film and television productions. He played in Fritz Genschow's Little Red Riding Hood adaptation, in Hanns Korngiebel's TV production of Émile Zola's Thérèse Raquin , Egon Monk's multi-part farmers, bonzen and bombs based on Hans Fallada, and in a recurring role in the youth series Everything revolves around Michael with Michael Nowka in the leading role.

In addition, Grothusen participated in radio programs of the RIAS Berlin, especially in the field of school radio and children's radio. He worked particularly extensively as a speaker for radio play productions. Between 1977 and 1983 he played the seventy-year-old pensioner Otto in various radio plays for HR, who, together with his wife Lisa, has to deal with everyday situations and changes in role models.
