Ministry of Education (Israel)

The Ministry of Education ( Hebrew מִשְׂרַד הַחִנּוּךְ Misrad haChinnūch ) is responsible for public educational institutions in Israel . Other names were Ministry of Education and Culture (1949–1977, 1984–1990, 1992–1993) and Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport (1977–1984, 1990–1992, 1993–1999, 2003–2006).
