NGC 137 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 241 million light years from the Milky Way and about 85,000 light years across.
The object was discovered on November 23, 1785 by the German-British astronomer Wilhelm Herschel .
