Career
Lindblom was selected in the KHL Junior Draft 2013 in 163rd position by Lokomotive Yaroslavl and was considered a promising candidate for an early election in the NHL Entry Draft 2014 . Ultimately, he was drafted in the 5th round as a total of 138th player by the Philadelphia Flyers . With the start of the 2014/15 season was Lindblom integral part of the professional cadre of Brynäs IF in the Svenska Hockey Ligan , previously ran the Swede since 2010, various youth teams and was partly as (assistance) Captain used.
After Lindblom had already entered the American Hockey League (AHL) on a trial basis for the Flyers' farm team , the Lehigh Valley Phantoms , at the end of the 2015/16 season , he signed an entry-level contract in Philadelphia in May 2017 . After he was mainly used in the AHL for a year, he established himself in the Flyers' NHL squad at the beginning of the 2018/19 season.
In December 2019, Lindblom was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma , a malignant tumor of the bone . As a result, he missed the rest of the season and received chemotherapy until the beginning of July 2020 , so that he has been cured since then. A few weeks later, the Swede signed a new three-year contract in Philadelphia, which should bring him an average annual salary of three million US dollars from the start of the 2020/21 season.

Lindblom took part with the Swedish team in the World U-17 Hockey Challenge 2013 , where he led his team to the title as tournament top scorer. A little later he represented his homeland at the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament 2013 . In January 2014 he made his debut for Brynäs in the Svenska Hockeyligan . He also represented the U20 national team in his home country at the U20 World Championships in 2015 and 2016 . The attacker made his debut for the senior national team as part of the Euro Hockey Tour 2016/17.
