Rehhorst is a municipality in the Stormarn district in Schleswig-Holstein .

geography

Rehhorst is about five kilometers north of Reinfeld (Holstein) . The Bißnitz and Wohldbek flow through the community.

Since the municipality reform came into force, the municipality has consisted of the previously independent districts of Rehhorst, Willendorf and Pöhls. The outer settlements are called Hamannsöhlen, Vosskaten and Neukoppel.

On January 1, 1978, the communities of Pöhls and Willendorf were incorporated.

Community council and mayor

Of the nine seats in the municipal council, the SPD has three seats since the local elections on May 26, 2013, the AKW electoral community has three seats and the CDU three seats. The turnout was 63%. Since the local elections in 2018, the CDU has given up one seat to the SPD.

Birgit Gerritzen (SPD) is the mayor of Rehhorst.
