Samarskoje ( Russian Самарское , German  Bergershof ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Krasnoznamensk in Krasnoznamensky District .

Geographical location

Samarskoje is one and a half kilometers from the city center of Krasnosnamensk (Lasdehnen / Haselberg) in a southerly direction on the regional road 27A-025 (ex R508 ). There is no train connection.

history

The former Bergershof was formerly a forest workers' settlement , which had belonged to the former municipality of Lasdehnen (1938 to 1946: Haselberg, today Russian: Krasnosnamensk) as a residential area since 1938. As a rural community, today's town belonged to the Pillkallen district (1939 to 1945: "Landkreis Schloßberg (Ostpr.)") In the Gumbinnen administrative district of the Prussian province of East Prussia .

After the entire northern East Prussia was transferred to the Soviet Union in 1945 as a result of the war , Bergershof was given the Russian name "Samarskoje" as an independent place in 1950 and was also assigned to the village soviet Tolstowski selski Sowet in Krasnosnamensk Raion .
