Schelesnodoroschnoje ( Russian Железнодорожноө , German Karczarningken , 1929 to 1945 Blumenfeld , Lithuanian Karčiarninkai ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Krasnoznamensk in Krasnoznamensky District .
Geographical location
Schelesnodoroschnoje is two kilometers south of the former district town of Dobrowolsk (Pillkallen / Schloßberg) and 21 kilometers south of today's Krasnosnamensk district (Lasdehnen / Haselberg) on the regional road 27A-059 (ex R510 ). In the town ends an overland road coming from Sadowoje (Jentkutkampen / Burgkampen) - belonging to the Nesterow district. There is no longer a train connection. Until 1945 the nearest train station was in Dobrowolsk on the Tilsit – Stallupönen / Ebenrode line and on the Pillkaller Kleinbahn .

The former Karczarningken was a small village before 1945. From 1874 to 1945, it belonged to the District Uszpiaunen (1936-1939 "District Uschpiaunen" 1939-1945 "District Kiesdorf (Ostpr.)") In the district Pillkallen (1939-1946 "County Schlossberg (Ostpr.)") In the Administrative district Gumbinnen of Prussian Province of East Prussia . On July 12, 1929 the village was renamed "Blumenfeld".
In consequence of the war, the village was in 1945 with the entire northern East Prussia to the Soviet Union supplied. In 1950 he received the Russian name "Schelesnodoroschnoje" and was assigned at the same time to the village soviet Dobrowolski selski Sowet in Krasnosnamensk Raion . From 2008 to 2015, Zheleznodorozhnoye belonged to the rural municipality of Dobrowolskoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the Krasnosnamensk district.

The residents of Karczarningkens resp. Before 1945, Bljumenfelds was predominantly of Protestant denomination. The village was parish in the parish of the church Pillkallen and was thus part of the church district Piallkallen (Schloßberg) in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Today, Schelesnodoroschnoje lies in the extensive catchment area of the newly formed Evangelical Lutheran congregation in Babuschkino (Groß Degesen) within the Kaliningrad (Königsberg) provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .
