As a result of the Second World War , Grünhaus came under Soviet administration. In 1947 it was given the Russian place name Seljonoje , which also refers to the color green, and at the same time was assigned to the village soviet Tschkalowski selski Sowet in Nesterow Rajon . Later the place belonged to the Sawetinski selski Sowet . From 2008 to 2018 Seljonoje belonged to the rural community Ilyushinskoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Nesterow.
