Pokryschkino ( Russian Покрышкино , German Dopönen , 1938–1945 Grünweide ) is a settlement in the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Nesterov in Nesterovsky District .

Geographical location

Pokryschkino is located eight kilometers southeast of Nesterow ( Stallupönen , 1938–1946 Ebenrode ) on a side road that connects the Rajon capital with Newskoje ( Pillupönen , 1938–1946 Schloßbach ) and the Rominter Heide and to the Russian-Polish border at Saslonowo ( Szittkehmen / Schittkehmen , 1938–1946 Wehrkirchen , Polish: Żytkiejmy) leads where it gets lost.

The western edge of the town is touched by the railway line from Nesterow via Tschistyje Prudy ( Tollmingkehmen , 1938–1946 Tollmingen ) to Krasnolessje ( Rominten , 1938–1946 Hardteck ), which before 1945 led to today's Polish Gołdap ( Goldap ). The next train station is Puschkino ( Göritten ).

history

The former Dopönen belonged to the district of Stallupönen in the administrative district of Gumbinnen in the Prussian province of East Prussia until 1945 . From 1874 it was incorporated into the Göritten district (today in Russian: Puschkino). In 1910 there were 311 residents registered in Dopönen, in 1933 there were 317, and in 1939 300.

On June 3, 1938 - with confirmation of July 16, 1938 - the village was given the name "Grünweide" - politically and ideologically as intended.

As a result of the Second World War , the village came to the Soviet Union . In 1947 it was given the Russian name Pokryschkino and at the same time became the seat of a village soviet in Nesterov Raion . From 2008 to 2018 Pokryschkino belonged to the rural municipality of Prigorodnoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Nesterow.

Pokryschkinski selski Sowet / okrug 1947–2008

The village soviet Pokryschkinski selski Sowet (ru. Покрышкинский сельский Совет) was established in June 1947. Its administrative seat was initially the place Pokryschkino. In 1954, the Nevsky selski Sowet was connected to the Pokryschkinski selski Sowet. Before 1975 the administrative headquarters were moved to Pushkino . After the collapse of the Soviet Union , the administrative unit existed as the village district Pokryschkinski selski okrug (ru. Покрышкинский сельский округ). In 2008 the remaining places in the village district were incorporated into the newly formed rural community Prigorodnoje selskoje posselenije .
