Fun must be was the title of an entertainment program on ARD radio that was broadcast from 1959 to 1986 under the direction of its playmaster Hans Rosenthal .

procedure

In this series with the subtitle "Quiz, Music and Good Mood", Rosenthal, unlike his other series, did not deal with previously selected candidates. During the public events, some of which were broadcast live, Rosenthal asked the audience in the hall and spontaneously looked for his candidates, who were often confronted with unusual and funny situations and tasks. The candidates did not always stay in the hall, because so-called outside rounds also took place. In these rounds, which were not held in the hall, the candidate was supported by a reporter who commented live on the game, especially for the listeners at home on the radio and the hall guests. The reporters included a. Lea Rosh , Christine Rackuff , Felix Knemöller , Ekkehard Fritsch , Horst Kintscher , Nero Brandenburg , Horst Braun , Reinhard Stein and also Max Schautzer , who was already discovered here by Hans Rosenthal and recommended for other tasks on television such as " Alone Against All ".
