Spinnin 'Records is a record label for electronic dance music based in Hilversum , The Netherlands , and has been in existence since 1999.
Warner Music Group bought Spinnin 'Records in September 2017 for over $ 100 million.
After Spinnin 'was taken over by Warner Music Group, co-founder Eelko van Kooten left the company while Rodger de Graaf became CEO.
General information
DJs such as Tiësto , KSHMR , R3hab and Oliver Heldens are currently under contract, and there are collaborations with musicians such as Sia and Inna . Spinnin 'Records also achieved good placements on Dutch airplay radio stations and owns 21 sublabels such as Sander van Doorns Doorn Records , Afrojacks Wall Recordings , Bingo Players Hysteria or Koen Groenevelds Abzolut Records, all of which publish dance .
In recent years the label has had great success with digital music stores such as Beatport , which is known as one of the largest dance stores in the world. Top 3 hits are often recorded, such as Nicky Romero's “My Friend” (2009) (based on Groove Armada's preparatory work), Koen Groeneveld & Addy van der Zwan's “Gotta Move” (2010), Afrojack's “ Take Over Control ” featuring Eva Simons and "Blessed" by Avicii. The Spinnin 'Records YouTube channel has over 25.1 million subscribers (as of April 2019). Martin Garrix '"Animals" is particularly worth mentioning with over a billion views.

Successful songs
- In the Netherlands, much of the dance music on both radio and television comes from Spinnin 'Records. Some of the most important Dutch releases, including Yolanda Be Cool vs D-Cups song "We No Speak Americano", which topped the Dutch charts in 2010 and stayed in them for 24 weeks and also in Germany (33 weeks on the charts), Austria (33 weeks) and Switzerland (41 weeks) reached number one.
- Duck Sauces song "Barbra Streisand" which in 2010 was also in the top five in Germany (26 weeks), the Netherlands (24 weeks), Austria (26 weeks) and Switzerland (30 weeks).
- Martin Solveig's song "Hello" feat. Dragonette , which reached number 5 in the German singles charts in 2010 and stayed there for 51 weeks and was also number one in the singles charts of Austria (37 weeks) and Holland (35 weeks), and also the 3FM Serious Request anthem by 2010, largely from Spinnin 'Records.
- Martin Garrix's song "Animals" was another great international success. In the summer of 2013, the title was at the top of the charts in many different countries around the world. Including 4th place in Germany and other top 5 placements in European countries. In Great Britain the song reached number 1 on the UK singles chart.
