Svyosdotschka ( Russian Звёздочка ) is an urban-type settlement in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in Russia with 408 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010).
geography
The village is about 460 km in a straight line east-southeast of the Republic capital of Yakutsk in there upland character carrying Yudoma River Maja highlands . It is located on the right bank of the Aldan tributary Allach-Jun .
Svyosdotschka belongs to Ulus Ust-Maiski and is located about 170 km east of its administrative center Ust-Maja . The settlement is the seat and only locality of the municipality (gorodskoje posselenije) Possjolok Svjosdotschka.
history
The settlement was founded in 1961 in connection with the beginning of the development of a gold deposit . The name stands for asterisk in Russian . Initially, Svyosdotschka belonged to the 25 km south of the Ynyktschan settlement, which was abandoned in 2008 (most recently Ynyktschanski ), before it became independent in 1987 with the status of an urban-type settlement.

Svyosdotschka is the end of a road that branches off a good 15 km southwest of the Eldikan - Jugorjonok road. This opens up the gold mining area in the east of the Ust-Maiski ulus and reaches the middle reaches of the Allach-Jun.
