Berdigestjach ( Russian Бердигестя́х ; Yakut Бэрдьигэстээх ) is a village (selo) in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in Russia with 6,462 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010).
geography
The village is located some 150 km in a straight line west of Republic capital Yakutsk on the Lena Plateau at the Matta , a left tributary of the Lena -Nebenflusses Sinjaja .
Berdigestjach is the administrative center of Ulus Gorny . The village is the seat of the rural community (selskoje posselenije) Berdigestjachski nasleg, which also includes the village of Mai, 8 km south.
history
The village was founded in 1931 as the administrative seat for the newly created Gony ulus ( Rajon ).

Berdigestjach of the section is located at the eastern section of Mirny - Yakutsk the highway A331 Vilyuy River . The small airport east of the town ( ICAO code UEEH ) is currently not regularly served.
