Trenčianska Turná (Hungarian Tornyos - until 1899 Turna ) is a municipality in western Slovakia .

It is located in the Waag Valley at the foot of the Považský Inovec , six kilometers south of Trenčín .
history
The first written mention was in 1269 as Tornua , a brook was mentioned as Turna aqua as early as 1113 . The Hámre part of the municipality has been part of the municipality since 1976 .
There is a baroque church in the village.
