Troitskoje ( Russian Тро́ицкое ) is a village (selo) in the Altai region ( Russia ) with 10,033 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010).
geography
The village is 70 km in a straight line southeast of the regional administration center Barnaul and 60 km northwest of Biysk on the right Whether creek Bolshaya Rechka .
Troizkoje is the administrative center of the Rajons Troizki and seat and only town in the rural community selsowet Troitsk.
history
The village was founded in 1914 in connection with the construction of the railway line to Biysk, which was opened the following year , a branch of the Novonikolajewsk (now Novosibirsk ) - Barnaul - Semipalatinsk (Semei) line, the first section of the later Turksib . Troitskoye developed rapidly and became the center of a Rajon in 1924.
In 1946 the status of an urban-type settlement was given, and in 1991 it was given the status of a rural settlement (possjolok). Troitskoye has been a village (selo) since 2009 .

In Troitskoye is the Bolshaya Rechka station (route kilometer 81) of the Novoaltaysk (Altayskaya) - Biysk railway line . A few kilometers to the east runs the M52 Tschuiski trakt highway , which connects Novosibirsk past Barnaul, via Biysk and past the capital of the Altai Republic, Gorno-Altaisk, with the Mongolian border at Taschanta .
