Lower forest

Location of the community-free area Unterer Wald in the district of Ansbach

Lower Forest is a community-free area in the Central Franconian district of Ansbach .

The 1.82 km² forest is surrounded by the municipality of Arberg , except for a border of almost 80 meters with Gunzenhausen in the southwest . Among other things, it contains the source of the Hambach , a left tributary of the Altmühl .
