The Uzbek Football League 2017 is the 26th season of the highest Uzbek football league since it was founded in 1992. The season started on March 3 and will end on November 25, 2017. The defending champion is Lokomotiv Tashkent .

mode

The clubs play a double round tournament , which results in a total of 30 games per team. The game is played according to the 3-point rule (three points per win, one point per tie). The table is determined according to the following criteria:

  1. Number of points scored
  2. Goal difference from all games
  3. Number of goals in all games

At the end of the season, the team with the highest points qualifies for the group stage of the 2018 AFC Champions League . The runner-up starts in the second qualifying round of the Champions League. In addition, the winner of the Uzbek soccer cup takes part in the second qualifying round. However, if the latter has already qualified through the league, the league third will take his place in the qualifying round.

The club with the fewest points is relegated to the second -rate Uzbekistan First League , the 15th plays in two relegation games against the 2nd of the Uzbekistan First League 2017 for relegation .

The FK Dinamo Samarkand returned after one year of abstinence as a master of Uzbekistan First League in 2016 back to the Uzbekistan Football League. The promoted team replaces the last club in the 2016 season , FK Andijon . For FK Andijon, relegation meant the end of his three-year membership in the Uzbek upper house. Navbahor Namangan managed to stay in the relegation game against FK Naryn .
