VR Bank Flensburg-Schleswig eG

Raiffeisenbank Südtondern / Bredstedt-Land eG

The Raiffeisenbank Südtondern / Bredstedt-Land eG came from a variety of predecessor institutions; However, its history is essentially based on two lines that merged in 1996 to form Raiffeisenbank Südtondern / Bredstedt-Land eG:

Raiffeisenbank Südtondern eG

The Raiffeisenbank Südtondern eG was founded in 1911 as a savings and loan bank eGmuH Suderlugum founded and forms as in all subsequent mergers acquiring cooperative the primordial cell of today's VR Bank. In 1966 the bank's form of liability was changed from unlimited to limited liability. The first merger of the bank took place in 1969: the Spar- und Kreditskasse Ladelund , founded in 1934 , joined the Spar- und Kreditskasse Süderlügum. Just one year later, in 1970, the Uphusum savings and loan fund followed . With effect from January 1st, 1978 the company name was changed to Raiffeisenbank eG Süderlügum . On January 1, 1985, the merger with Raiffeisenbank Wiedingharde eG , based in Neukirchen , which was founded in 1903 as the savings and loan fund eGmuH Neukirchen and renamed Raiffeisenbank Wiedingharde eG in 1973 , followed.

The merger with Raiffeisenbank eG Leck (see below) was resolved retrospectively to December 31, 1986 . In 1990, Raiffeisenbank Süderlügum eG in Süderlügum and Raiffeisenbank Bökingharde eG in Niebüll (see below) merged to form Raiffeisenbank Südtondern eG , based in Süderlügum. Niebüll was chosen as the seat of the merged bank.

Raiffeisenbank eG leak

The Raiffeisenbank eG leak originated in 1968 from the merger of the savings and loan societies stadum (est. 1907), Klixbüll (est. 1934) and Achtrup (est. 1937). At the time, the acquiring institute was the Spar- und Kreditskasse Stadum, which relocated its headquarters to Leck and initially renamed itself Spar- und Kreditskasse eGmbH Leck and later Raiffeisenbank eG Leck . In 1953, the savings and loan fund Sprakebüll, founded in 1934, was absorbed into the Spar- und Kreditskasse Stadum .

Raiffeisenbank Bökingharde eG

The Raiffeisenbank Bökingharde eG , based in Niebüll, goes back to the savings and loan bank eGmuH Deezbüll founded in 1914 . In 1960, both the form of liability and the company name were changed to Spar- und Kreditskasse eGmbH Niebüll . In 1970 the merger with the savings and loan bank Risum-Lindholm , founded in 1919, followed , in which the savings and loan bank Oster-Schnatebüll (founded in 1924) had already been merged in 1964 , and with it the renaming to the savings and loan bank Bökingharde eG . In 1972, the savings and loan fund Fahretoft (founded in 1896) was taken over in a further structural measure , which also included the savings and loan fund Langeneß (founded in 1937) , which was taken over in 1963 . As part of the nationwide renaming of the cooperative sector, the bank was renamed Raiffeisenbank Bökingharde eG in 1979 .

Raiffeisenbank Bredstedt / Land eG

The origins of Raiffeisenbank Bredstedt / Land eG can be found in the savings and loan association Breklum founded in 1902 . The further course of the savings and loan fund in Breklum is also characterized by numerous mergers with other cooperatives, but also with other companies. In 1927, the Struckum purchasing and sales cooperative was taken over by merging, which had arisen from a Struckum steam threshing machine cooperative founded in the late 1880s.

In 1935, the savings and loan fund Breklum was taken over by the savings and loan fund Breklum. The Spar- und Leihkasse was a stock corporation founded by some farmers at the end of 1874 , which was converted into a GmbH in 1900 . In October 1935, the state commissioner for credit demanded the dissolution of the savings and loan fund. The shareholders' meeting therefore decided to merge with the savings and loan association Breklum.

The next mergers took place in 1970: The savings and loan fund Drelsdorf , founded on April 15, 1897, joined the savings and loan fund Breklum on January 1, 1970; the savings and loan bank Bordelum followed on April 1, 1970. Also in 1970, a branch was opened in the city center of Bredstedt .

In 1972 the name was changed to Raiffeisenbank eG Breklum and the merger with the savings and loan association Langenhorn (founded in 1925). On January 1, 1979, the merger with Raiffeisenbank eG Ahrenshöft-Bohmstedt was decided, which in turn emerged in 1964 from the savings and loan funds Ahrenshöft (founded in 1910) and Bohmstedt (founded in 1924).

In 1990 Raiffeisenbank eG Breklum merged with Raiffeisenbank Bargum-Joldelund eG to form Raiffeisenbank Bredstedt / Land eG . In the course of this, the headquarters were moved from Breklum to Bredstedt. The Raiffeisenbank Bargum-Joldelund eG was created in 1981 from the merger of the Raiffeisenbanks (formerly savings and loan banks) Bargum (founded in 1924) and Joldelund (founded in 1919).

Volksbank eG, Niebüll

The Volksbank eG in Niebüll was established in 1885 as Niebüller Credit Association eGmuH founded and is the oldest origin Institute of today's VR Bank eG. In contrast to the rural cooperatives according to the Raiffeisen system , the Niebüller Creditverein was founded according to the Schulze-Delitzsch system . On November 17, 1917, the company was converted into a cooperative with limited liability. In the course of the standardization of Schulze-Delitzscher credit cooperatives, the name of the Creditverein was changed to Volksbank Niebüll eGmbH on March 29, 1939 . In 1958, Volksbank Niebüll eG opened a branch in Leck. In addition, payment offices were set up in Risum-Lindholm, Dagebüll and Klanxbüll in the 1960s. In the course of 1989 the merger with Volksbank Bredstedt eG was prepared and took effect on January 1, 1990. The name of the combined institute was set to Volksbank eG . The seat was Niebüll. With effect from January 1, 2001, the merger with Raiffeisenbank Südtondern / Bredstedt-Land eG was finally completed to form today's VR Bank eG , based in Niebüll.

Volksbank Bredstedt eG

The Volksbank eG Bredstedt was on November 1, 1892 as the credit union to Bredstedt eGmuH launched. At an extraordinary general meeting on November 26, 1921, the credit association was converted into a cooperative with limited liability and the company was simultaneously changed to Kreditbank zu Bredstedt eGmbH . On October 1, 1930, payment offices were set up in Bordelum, Struckum and Drelsdorf. The Bordelum payment office was given up again at the end of January 1931 and a payment office was opened in Sterdebüll instead . In March 1939, parallel to the cooperative in Niebüll, the name was changed from Kreditbank to Volksbank to Bredstedt eGmbH . When the amendment to the cooperative law came into force , the company name had to be Volksbank Bredstedt eG from January 1, 1974 .

VR Bank eG, Niebüll

Branch in Niebüll

After the merger of Raiffeisenbank Südtondern / Bredstedt-Land eG and Volksbank eG Niebüll to form VR Bank eG on January 1, 2001, the branches Niebüll, Bredstedt, Langenhorn and Leck - both merger partners had branches here - were established in 2001. each merged.

In 2009 a merger with the VR Bank Flensburg-Schleswig eG based in Schleswig was planned.
