Economy and Infrastructure

economy

In 2017 there were 463 jobs subject to social security contributions in the municipality. Of the resident population, 886 people were in employment subject to compulsory insurance. This means that the number of out-commuters was 423 more than that of in-commuters. 26 residents were unemployed. In 2016 there were 15 farms.

traffic

The B 22 runs through the village . This federal highway caused a sensation because there were supposedly more accidents there due to psychic effects. For a long time there had been many accidents against which all conventional traffic avoidance measures (e.g. speed limit, overtaking ban) did not help. A local miracle healer then offered his help and claimed that there were several water veins and power rays at the danger point in the municipality , which would negatively affect driving behavior. By resolution of the city council, strange spherical antennas were installed in the trees on the street during the time of Mayor Michael Dankerl, which, according to the faith healer, should help.

In addition, Willmering is on the Cham – Waldmünchen railway line . The route is operated every two hours by the Regentalbahn .

education

There is a day-care facility on site with 39 places and 41 supervised children (as of March 1, 2018).
