The Wyschtscha Liha 1995/96 ( Ukrainian Вища ліга ) was the 5th edition of the highest Ukrainian league in men's football . The season began on July 25, 1995 and ended on June 17, 1996.

Eighteen teams played against each other twice on a total of 34 match days, divided into a first half and a second half. Defending champions Dynamo Kiev secured the championship for the fourth time. This season there were three relegated teams, as the league was reduced to 16 clubs in the following season.
