Aucelon is a French commune with a population of 16 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Drôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Die , to the canton of Le Diois (until 2015 canton of Luc-en-Diois ) and to the municipal association Diois, founded in 2001 .

Aucelon is located about 45 kilometers southeast of Valence on the Roanne , which borders the municipality in the north. Neighboring municipalities of Aucelon are Pennes-le-Sec in the north, Barnave in the north and northeast, Recoubeau-Jansac in the east and northeast, Montlaur-en-Diois in the east, Poyols in the east and southeast, Jonchères in the southeast, Volvent in the south and southeast, Brette in the south and Pradelle in the west.
