Solaure en Diois is a French municipality with 444 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Drôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Die and the canton of Le Diois .
The municipality was formed on January 1, 2016 as Commune nouvelle from the previously independent municipalities Aix-en-Diois and Molières-Glandaz .

Solaure en Diois is located about 42 kilometers east-southeast of Valence on the Drôme River . Solaure-en-Diois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Die in the north, Laval-d'Aix in the east, Saint-Roman in the south-east, Montmaur-en-Diois in the south and south-west, Aurel in the west and south-west and Barsac in the west and north-west.
