La Bâtie-des-Fonds is a French commune with a population of 4 (at January 1, 2017) in the south of the department Drôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It lies below the 1261 m high Col de Carabès, which mediates the transition from the Drôme valley to the Aiguebelle valley and then into the Buëch valley. The source of the Drôme, after which the department is named, is located in the district.
