Recoubeau-Jansac is a French municipality with 269 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Drôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016: Rhône-Alpes ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Die , to the canton of Le Diois (until 2015 canton of Luc-en-Diois ) and to the municipal association Diois, founded in 2001 .

Recoubeau-Jansac is located about 50 kilometers southeast of Valence on the Drôme . Neighboring municipalities of Recoubeau-Jansac are Barnave in the north and west, Menglon in the east and northeast, Luc-en-Diois in the east and southeast, Montlaur-en-Diois in the south and southeast and Aucelon in the southwest.
The commune is located in the Châtillon-en-Diois wine-growing region and on the former Route nationale 93 (today's D93).
