Arnayon is a French commune in the Drôme department in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Die and the canton of Le Diois .

Arnayon is part of the Baronnies Provençales Regional Nature Park . The Roanne , a left tributary of the Drôme, has its source in the municipality . Neighboring communities are Bouvières in the north-west, Gumiane in the north, Chalancon in the north-east, La Motte-Chalancon in the east, Cornillon-sur-l'Oule in the south-east, Saint-May in the south and Villeperdrix in the south-west and west.
