Allex is a French commune with 2,515 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Drome region, in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Die and the canton of Loriol-sur-Drôme .
geography
The place is on the right side of the Drôme valley , about 15 kilometers south of Valence . Neighboring municipalities of Allex are:
- Montoison and Ambonil in the north,
- Upie in the northeast,
- Eurre in the east,
- Grane in the south and
