Val-Maravel is a commune in the French department of Drôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It was created in 1973 from the merger of the previous municipalities of Fourcinet, La Bâtie-Crémezin and Le Pilhon. It belongs to the Arrondissement of Die and the canton of Le Diois . It borders on Boulc to the north, Montbrand to the northeast, La Haute-Beaume to the east, La Beaume to the southeast, Beaurières to the south and Lesches-en-Diois to the west . A local elevation is the 1692 m high Sommet de Luzet.
