geography
Cobonne is a mountain village in the Drôme valley , eight kilometers northeast of Crest . The municipality borders Vaunaveys-la-Rochette in the north-west, Gigors-et-Lozeron in the north, Suze in the east, Aouste-sur-Sye in the south and Crest in the south-west.
history
Cobonne was badly damaged during World War II ; the reconstruction work continued until the 1970s.
