Soyans is located about 34 kilometers south-southeast of Valence on the Roubion River . Soyans is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Divajeu in the north, Aouste-sur-Sye in the northeast, Saou in the east, Francillon-sur-Roubion in the east and southeast, Félines-sur-Rimandoule in the southeast, Pont-de-Barret in the south, and Puy- Saint-Martin in the west and south-west and La Répara-Auriples in the west and north-west.
