The Copa do Brasil 1991 was the third edition of this national soccer cup competition in Brazil. The Copa was hosted by the Brazilian Sports Federation, the CBF . The cup winner was qualified as a participant in the Copa Libertadores 1992 . The defeated finalist qualified for the Copa Conmebol 1992 .
Season course
The competition started its season on February 9, 1991 and ended on June 2, 1991. At the end of the season, the Criciúma EC became the third title holder. The top scorer for the second time after 1989 was Gérson da Silva from Atlético Mineiro with 6 goals.
