The EBSA Snooker European Championship 2011 was the 20th edition of the European Billiards and Snooker Association hosted European Championship in Snooker . It took place from June 7th to 16th, 2011 in the Bulgarian capital Sofia . Welshman Daniel Wells became European champion with a 7: 4 win in the final against Irish Vincent Muldoon .

The 63 participating players were divided into eight groups, each with seven or eight players, in which they competed against each other in round robin mode . The four best placed in each group qualified for the final round, which was played in the knockout system .
