This article looks at the successes of German cyclists in the Tour de France . Overall victories, stage victories, won and worn rating jerseys as well as (record) participations are counted.
Legend
- Days : Indicates the number of days / stages on which the respective jersey was worn.
- Overall victories : Years in which an overall victory was achieved in a rating are marked with a "*".
- Arrivals in Paris : Indicates how often the respective driver was able to finish the Tour de France in Paris, i.e. was classified in the final classification.
- Best place : Best place overall when arriving in Paris.

1) Tony Martin won the yellow jersey on stage 4 and successfully defended it on stages 5 and 6. At the end of the 6th stage he had a bad fall and was unable to start the 7th stage. The jersey was not worn at this stage.

- ↑ The red number on the back for the most combative rider on a stage has only been awarded since 2003.
- ↑ The whole Omega Pharma-Quick-Step team was awarded the red number for their achievements during the 13th stage , Tony Martin was a member of the team. On the next stage, Captain Mark Cavendish wore the red shirt number on behalf of the team.
