This article looks at the successes of German cyclists in the Tour de France . Overall victories, stage victories, won and worn rating jerseys as well as (record) participations are counted.

Legend

  • Days : Indicates the number of days / stages on which the respective jersey was worn.
  • Overall victories : Years in which an overall victory was achieved in a rating are marked with a "*".
  • Arrivals in Paris : Indicates how often the respective driver was able to finish the Tour de France in Paris, i.e. was classified in the final classification.
  • Best place : Best place overall when arriving in Paris.

  1. The red number on the back for the most combative rider on a stage has only been awarded since 2003.
  2. The whole Omega Pharma-Quick-Step team was awarded the red number for their achievements during the 13th stage , Tony Martin was a member of the team. On the next stage, Captain Mark Cavendish wore the red shirt number on behalf of the team.
