Estoril Open 2001 / Men

The Estoril Open 2001 was a tennis tournament that took place from April 9th ​​to 15th, 2001 in Estoril . It was part of the 2001 ATP Tour and was played on a clay court. The tournament belonged to the International Series category .

In the individual, Carlos Moyá no longer appeared to defend his title. This year's final won the top seeded Spaniard Juan Carlos Ferrero in three sets against the qualifier Félix Mantilla . Donald Johnson and Piet Norval won doubles last year . While Norval did not take part in the tournament this year, Johnson made it to the final with his new partner Nenad Zimonjić bin. There they were defeated by the Czech duo Radek Štěpánek and Michal Tabara in two sentences.
