The Eurotec Technologiepark is located north of the city center of Moers . It is operated by Technologiepark Eurotec Rheinpreussen GmbH and was created in the 1990s with the help of subsidies from the European Union on the site of the former Rheinpreussen 5/9 mine , which was closed in 1990. 17 years later, 65 companies had already settled in the Eurotec Technology Park.

The historical structure of the colliery was integrated with modern architecture in an urban park landscape. A total of 65,000 square meters and 9,000 square meters of rentable office, service and storage space are available for industrial establishments.

The "Eurotec Center" forms the heart of the Eurotec Park. There, the resident companies can take advantage of a wide range of services: central reception and postal service, secretarial and typing, copy shop and restaurant / cafeteria. The “Forum” is available for events and can accommodate up to 300 participants. The "light hall" is suitable for events with up to 150 participants and two conference rooms are designed for events with up to 20 participants.

By integrating different specialist areas of scientific research, technological development and vocational training, "Eurotec" sees itself as an innovative source of inspiration for economic development on the Lower Rhine .
