Felix Michael Lehrmann (born October 21, 1984 in Halberstadt ) is a German drummer .
Life Lehrmann played drums for the first time when he was three years old. According to his own statement, he saw Joe Zawinul drummer Paco Séry play live in Berlin for the first time at the age of eleven . He then studied his hi-hats for years , as he was the "hi-hat king" in his eyes. His father Michael, with whom he already worked as a roadie at the age of seven , is a guitarist well-known and valued in Berlin circles, his mother is a teacher. His uncle used to play drums, and he with three to four years in the attic of his grandmother his first attempts at the drum set undertook. In the beginning his father taught him the drums. Then at the age of seven he got his first drum lessons with Frank Schirmer and later with Kenny Martin, with whom he had taken lessons until November 2006. At the age of 17 he went on his first European tour as a professional musician with Della Miles . Lehrmann has been with the band Rivo Drei since 2002 . Since then he has been working as a touring and studio drummer. He also takes part in the Go Music sessions and, since 2004, in the live demo band from Berlin.
He had projects a. a. with Aloe Blacc , Kurtis Blow , Frank McComb, Boris , Weather Girls , D-Flame , Haftbefehl , Namika , Bell, Book & Candle , Yvonne Catterfeld , Valentine , Nneka , Jeanette Biedermann , Mamadee , Itchycoo or Lena Meyer-Landrut . Lehrmann has been the drummer for Germany's most successful singer Sarah Connor since 2008 and has played all tours and promotional appearances with her since then. Since 2012 he has been the drummer of the Swedish progressive rock band The Flower Kings and can be heard on their albums Banks Of Eden and Desolation Rose. From February 2015 to December 2016 he and Dendemann could be seen once a week on the TV show Neo Magazin Royale with Jan Böhmermann .
