Halinghen is a French municipality with 325 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016 Nord-Pas-de-Calais ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Boulogne-sur-Mer and the canton Desvres (until 2015: canton Samer ). The inhabitants are called the Halinghenois .

Halinghen is about 14 kilometers south-southeast of Boulogne-sur-Mer . The municipality is part of the Caps et Marais d'Opale Regional Nature Park .

Halinghen is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Verlincthun in the north, Tingry in the east, Frencq in the south and south-east, Widehem in the south and south-west, Neufchâtel-Hardelot in the west and north-west and Nesles in the north-west.
