Bazinghen ( Flemish : Bazingem ) is a French municipality with 393 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the district of Boulogne-sur-Mer in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . Bazinghen belongs to the canton of Desvres (until 2015: canton of Marquise ).

geography

Bazinghen is about 19 kilometers southwest of Calais and about eleven kilometers north-northeast of Boulogne-sur-Mer . The municipality is part of the Caps et Marais d'Opale Regional Nature Park . Bazinghen is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Tardinghen in the north, Audembert in the northeast, Leulinghen-Bernes in the east, Marquise in the south and southeast, Wimille in the south, Ambleteuse in the southwest, Audresselles in the west and Audinghen in the northwest.
