Ferques is a French commune with 1,802 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the district of Boulogne-sur-Mer in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . Ferques belongs to the canton of Desvres (until 2015: canton of Marquise ). The inhabitants are called Ferquois .

Ferques is located about 16 kilometers southwest of Calais and about 22 kilometers northeast of Boulogne-sur-Mer . The municipality is part of the Caps et Marais d'Opale Regional Nature Park .

Ferques is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Leubringhen in the northwest, Landrethun-le-Nord in the north, Caffiers in the northeast, Fiennes in the east, Réty in the south, Rinxent in the south and southwest, Marquise in the southwest and Leulinghen-Bernes in the west.
