Rety (as Réty , Dutch : Reetseke ) is a French municipality with 2096 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . Rety belongs to the arrondissement of Boulogne-sur-Mer and is part of the canton of Desvres .

Rety is on the Slack River . The municipality is part of the Caps et Marais d'Opale Regional Nature Park .

Rety is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ferques in the north, Fiennes in the northeast, Hardinghen in the east, Boursin in the south and southeast, Belle-et-Houllefort in the south and southwest, Wierre-Effroy in the west and Rinxent in the west.
