Nesles ( Flemish : Nele ) is a French municipality with 953 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016 Nord-Pas-de-Calais ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Boulogne-sur-Mer and the canton of Outreau (until 2015 canton of Samer ). The inhabitants are called Neslois .

geography

Nesles is about eleven kilometers south-southeast of Boulogne-sur-Mer . The municipality is part of the Caps et Marais d'Opale Regional Nature Park .

Nesles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Condette in the north, Verlincthun in the east, Halinghen in the south and south-east and Neufchâtel-Hardelot in the west and south-west.
