Heede ( Low German : Heed ) is a municipality in the Pinneberg district in Schleswig-Holstein . The districts of Grasenmoor, Rieloh, Schöttelhörn and Ziegeleiweg belong to the community.
Geography and traffic
Heede is about ten kilometers east of Elmshorn , three kilometers east of Barmstedt and nine kilometers northwest of Quickborn . The community is dominated by agriculture and has a large industrial area that is still under construction.
The municipality is characterized by inland dunes and heather areas, from which the place name is probably derived. The local recreation area “Heeder Tannen” with a large proportion of forest is located near the town center. The Krückau flows through the community.
The federal highway 23 runs between Heede and Elmshorn , a few kilometers west of Heede the federal highway 4 from Quickborn to Bad Bramstedt .
