Johanna Klante (* 1976 in Munich ) is a German actress .

Career

Klante is the daughter of the director Diethard Klante and began her acting career in early childhood. Her father gave the then six-year-old the role of Hanni in the seven-part short film series Hanni and Hilde Tell Fairy Tales , after which, however, their schooling had priority. It was not until the early 1990s that Klante, who never attended drama school, continued her career.

Her involvement in the television film Die Angst will remain , in which she was allowed to play alongside Heinz Hoenig and Constanze Engelbrecht , she owed her father, as well as the continuous leading role Christina Robinson in the ARD evening series Marienhof , through which she became known to a wide audience . She took over this from the twins Clarissa and Veronika Handel when the series was switched to the daily soap . Since children are only allowed to shoot a limited number of days, the twin couple had to give up the role. Klante embodied this from January 1995 to January 1996.

She was also seen in Herrmann Zschoche's drama Where the heart is at home , in the Christmas series Frankie , in Nico Hofmann's Der große Abgang as well as in the movie Schlaraffenland .

A short time later, Klante was occupied by her father in Die Nacht hat 17 hours , where she was allowed to play alongside Sebastian Koch and again with Hoenig. In the TV thriller Death in Paradise , she also embodies the young Lizzy , who disappears without a trace on a Caribbean island and is wanted by her father, who was played by Richy Müller .

In the English-language cinema production Bonhoeffer - The Last Stage , directed by Eric Till , she played the leading female role in front of the camera. This film was awarded the One Future Prize at the Munich Film Festival in 2000 . In 2002 Klante was also honored as the best young actress with the Günter Strack television award.

In addition to other cinema productions, she has increasingly appeared in crime series such as Der Alte , Siska , Tatort and Polizeiruf 110 in recent years . From 2007 to 2010 Klante also played Jennifer Connelly in the ZDF series Our Farm in Ireland .
