history
Until the church is planted
The place was part of the Hochstift Würzburg and came to the Counts of Löwenstein-Wertheim in the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss 1803 . From 1500 both belonged to the Franconian Empire . In 1806 it became part of the Baden Media Office Steinfeld, which was ceded to Austria in 1816. In the general recession of Frankfurt in 1819 he came to Bavaria. According to the parish edict of 1818, today's parish was established there.

Jewish Cemetery
Since 1983 a memorial stone in the Jewish cemetery has been commemorating the persecution and murder of the Jewish residents of Karbach, Homburg and Marktheidenfeld , who were victims of the Shoah during the Nazi regime .

The municipal tax receipts in 1999 amounted to 1,007,000 euros, of which 428,000 euros (net) were trade tax revenues.
