Kasatschinskoje ( Russian Казачинское ) is a village (selo) in the Krasnoyarsk region in Russia with 3864 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010).

geography

The place is about 190 km as the crow flies north of the regional administrative center Krasnoyarsk on the western edge of the Yenisei Ridge . It is located on the left bank of the Yenisei , almost 30 km below the Kasatschinsker rapids (Kasatschinski porog).

Kasatschinskoje is the administrative center of the Kasachinsky Rajons and the seat and only locality of the rural municipality (selskoje posselenije) Kasatschinski selsowet.

history

The village is on the 1650 on the road from Yeniseisk to Krasnoyarsk from to Siberia advancing Russians built Ostrog Kasatschi Lug back (of Russian Kasaki for " Cossack "). Later farmers and craftsmen settled there; the village became the seat of a Volost . Since April 4, 1924, Kazachinskoye has been the administrative seat of a raion named after him.

Kazachinskoye is located on the 04K-044 regional road ( Jenisseiski trakt, formerly R409), which connects Krasnoyarsk with Jenisseisk. A few kilometers south of the village of Galanino the 04K-019 branches off in a westerly direction to the neighboring district center of Pirovskoye . The nearest train stations are on the branch of the Trans-Siberian Railway from Achinsk to Lessosibirsk Abalakowo not far from Lessosibirsk and Pirovskaya, accessible via Pirovskoye, both by road about 80 km from Kazachinskoye.

Kazachinskoye has a shipping pier on the Yenisei. The 3 km long rapids above the village with a flow speed of up to 22 km / h is the only section of the river in Russia that to this day (as of 2013) has been crossed by some ships upstream with the help of a rope ship .
